Race track and ice conditions

Dear competitors: Every day we check the conditions for you. In the link and in the photo below, you can see today's movement ON THE ICE. And now, essential information for the race:

• We check the quality of the ice daily, and we really enter it every day.
• We profile likely routes every day.
• The race does not take place in Frymburk or in Lipno nad Vltavou; the start and finish are in Černá v Pošumaví at Kemp Jestřábí I! Lipno is over 40 km long, so it's quite logical that conditions vary in each part of Lipno!
• Do not enter the ice now! It really is not safe if:
  • You don't have enough knowledge and experience
  • You lack the proper equipment (dry suit, ice cleats, ice picks for self-rescue, a mobile phone in a waterproof case, a partner, etc.)
  • You want to enter the ice in a place you haven't checked beforehand.

So: massage your muscles, prepare your ice cleats, get comfortable, and come to test your abilities. The race will definitely be in a combined form - that is, ICE and LAND!!!
